About Gordon

Fiction with a career behind it

Before turning to fiction, Gordon served for three decades with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, retiring as a Chief Superintendent. He specialized in major crime investigations, including homicide, before being selected as Canada’s first and lead counter-terrorism hostage negotiator.

His operational experience had him operating in the Middle East, South America and across Africa where he negotiated in some of the world’s most complex and dangerous environments. That experience now informs his fiction.
